The AVMA Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) will visit the Community College of Denver’s Veterinary Technology program on October 22–23, 2025 as part of its accreditation process. They are seeking one Colorado veterinarian to join the site team.
Serving as a site team member is a unique way to give back to the profession, support the future of veterinary technicians, and gain an inside look at veterinary technology education in action. Travel, food, and lodging expenses are covered.
Who can serve:
Volunteers must be Colorado-licensed veterinarians without conflicts of interest, such as current or past employment with the program, serving on its advisory committee, or acting as a consultant for the program.
If you are interested, complete the CVTEA Site Team Form. Signing up adds you to a pool of potential volunteers but does not guarantee placement.
Your involvement will help ensure the continued quality of veterinary technician education in Colorado. We encourage interested veterinarians to apply.
