I have been practicing small animal veterinary medicine here in Colorado Springs since 2017. During my time as a relief veterinarian I have worked in a variety of private and corporate owned hospitals, and have worked independently as well as in multi-doctor practices. I focus on client education and communication while providing comprehensive, quality medicine with a cooperative and upbeat attitude to both clients and staff. My record-keeping is thorough yet succinct which allows for a smooth transition when transferring cases between veterinarians. I am familiar with several common veterinary medical software systems and can readily learn to work with new systems and methods for records, billing, prescriptions, and estimates. Flexibility, efficiency and approachability allow me to quickly blend into your practice and easily see a full caseload. Please feel free two contact me with any questions and for future availability.
CSU grad with 36 years experience available for relief in the Denver area.
Hello, I am a small animal GP with over 20 years of experience. I have periodically done relief work and am now looking to expand to relief work exclusively or a permanent part-time (2 days/week) general practice position with no surgery or dentistry. My main interests include, but are not limited to, challenging internal medicine cases, a fear free approach to handling, general behavior cases, the use of supplements to support various health conditions, pain management and general support of the senior patient and hospice care. I find value in collaborating with other veterinarians and the veterinary team as a whole. I also have years of experience working as the solo practitioner (with technical staff) in the clinic/hospital setting. I’m available for limited dates through the end of May, with full availability starting after June 10, 2025. The geographic area I am willing to cover includes Canon City, Pueblo/Pueblo West, Salida, Colorado Springs/Monument/Palmer Lake, and Southern Denver area Suburbs. I look forward to any inquiries and meeting/experiencing new peers/team members and clients! Be well 🙂
My name is Dr. Jennifer Stepp and I am an experienced relief veterinarian. Since graduating in 2012, I have practiced as an associate veterinarian, medical director, practice owner, and have been providing relief services since 2019. I am thorough and affable. I do live in another state part of the year, and so I would like relief positions that are 3 or more days/shifts. I am comfortable working in a variety of environments and am able to adapt quickly. I appreciate a good support staff and a laid-back yet focused and efficient approach to patient care. I look forward to getting to know your clinics! Please contact me with your requested dates and any questions you may have. My resume and references are available upon request. Thank you!
