We are excited to announce that membership renewals are now open for the membership cycle for October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2026. Whether you’ve been part of the CVMA community for years or are joining for the first time, now is the perfect moment to recommit to your professional growth, your colleagues, and the future of veterinary medicine in Colorado.
What’s New for 2026
CVMA continues to evolve alongside the profession we serve. This year, we’re proud to introduce three new membership types that reflect the growing diversity of our community:
- NEW! Premier Industry Member – An enhanced tier for industry partners that includes website logo placement, CE sponsorship and exhibit-booth discounts, and membership for multiple staff.
- NEW! Veterinarian (Out-of-State) – For veterinarians licensed in Colorado but living out of state.
- NEW! Technician – For veterinary technicians with RVT or PVT status.
We’ve removed Chapter Dues from our Recent Graduate memberships, making it more affordable for the future of CVMA to join now.
Plus, practices enrolling three or more veterinarians or technicians together now qualify for group discounts—a great way to support your entire team while saving more.
Keep Access to Education That Fits Your Schedule
Continuing education (CE) is at the heart of CVMA’s mission. Members enjoy free access to all Colorado state-required CE, including courses on:
- Substance Use Prevention Training
- Colorado Veterinary Jurisprudence
- Delegation and Supervision
All three courses (5 total CE hours) are required to renew your Colorado veterinary license by October 31, 2026—and they’re free for CVMA members!
Beyond required CE, you’ll also save on registration for in-person and virtual events across the state, including member-favorite experiences like SkiCE and Convention.
Stay Represented with Strong Advocacy
Your membership ensures your voice is heard where it matters most. CVMA advocates for veterinarians, technicians, and the profession at the state capitol and with regulatory bodies, working to influence policy, protect your license, and improve animal welfare across Colorado.
CVMA is already looking ahead to 2026 when the Colorado legislative session opens mid-January.
Enjoy Career Support and Exclusive Savings
